COIL iQ is a software management solution for the renewables industry, as well as electricians who want to optimize their time, streamline workflow processes, and increase productivity and sales. It found its primary use case in the automotive industry, where COIL partnered with Tesla, Uber, Hertz, and many others to connect service providers with electric car owners. They wanted to create a software solution that would help other providers in managing their workload in the automotive industry. Their idea was to build a scalable backend in Java on AWS using containers and event streams, and front-end applications in React and React Native.
